Privacy Policy.
Collective Theory runs collectivetheory.com, the website for our technology studio. This policy covers this website only: what it collects, why, and what we do with it.
01What we collect
The only personal information this website collects is what you enter in the contact form:
- Your name
- Your email address
- The topic you choose
- Your message
We also record the date and time you sent it. If you email us directly at contact@collectivetheory.com, we receive whatever you include in that email.
02What we do not collect
This website does not use cookies, analytics, advertising trackers, or browser storage. Our fonts, images, and videos are served from our own servers, so opening a page does not send your information to any other company.
03Server logs
Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical details about each request, such as your IP address, browser type, the page you asked for, and the time. We use these logs only to keep the website running and secure.
04How we use your information
We use what you send us to:
- Reply to your message
- Talk with you about the work you asked about
- Keep a record of our conversation
We do not sell your information, use it for advertising, or add you to a mailing list.
05Who handles it for us
Two service providers handle data on our behalf, only to provide their service to us:
- Google Cloud hosts this website and stores its server logs.
- Supabase stores the messages sent through the contact form.
These providers may store data outside your country. We will also disclose information if the law requires it.
06How long we keep it
We keep contact form messages for as long as we need them to reply to you and to keep a record of our conversation. We delete them sooner if you ask us to.
07Your choices
You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete the information you sent us through the contact form or by email. Write to contact@collectivetheory.com and we will handle your request promptly.
08Links to our products
Our work section links to products we built, including sheetsmcp.io, yourtalks.ai, and rewriteapp.io. Each of those websites has its own privacy policy, which applies when you visit it.
09Children
This website is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
10Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update this page and the date at the top.
